If I got 66 in theory and 25 in practical, total = 91 (A+). Is that an A+?
Answer: No. That would be an A in theory and an A+ in practical. NEB calculates theory and practical separately, so you cannot simply add them to get the final grade. For an A+ in theory, you must score at least 90% of 75 (67.5 marks) for a 75-mark subject, and the same applies to practical.
Fun Fact: In the NEB Class 10 board exam(SEE), GPA is affected by Credit Hour, not just total marks. If Sita excels in Nepali and scores an A+ but performs poorly in Mathematics, while Ram scores an A+ in Mathematics and performs poorly in Nepali, both may have similar total marks. However, Ram will still achieve a higher GPA because Mathematics carries more credit hours than Nepali.
